Kitchen Faucets Two Hole
Buy just the deck plate for kitchen Faucet?
I replaced my kitchen faucet, everything is good, except the chrome finish deck plate, and plastic putty plate. It’s coming loose and water is getting underneath. The sink has the three holes drilled, and the deck plate covers those (the new sink and the old was a single handle pull out). The old deck plate had bolts and screwed in to the two outer holes, like a dummy I threw it away. The new deck plate just uses plumbers putty, no matter how much I use it still comes loose. Now I would like to find just the deck plate for my sink that I can bolt down. Any one know where is a place that sells those separately?
Or is there a solution for no deck plate? How would I cover the holes?
I know of no deck plate that is just held by putty, they either snap in or are held by the faucet, you have a legitimate case for returning the faucet, barring that, the previous answer is sufficient. You can purchase covers for the holes to match the sink if you want to eliminate the cover. They use them on four hole sinks when there is no spray hose.
