Plumbing, can I hook into an excising drain pipe from a sink to hook up another sink?

Instaling a kitchen sink on the other side of the wall to the Bathroom Sink which is already hooked up. Hot & cold copper pipes are already there, can I run the drain pipe for the new sink through to the black (abs?) excisting drain pipe for the bathroom sink? also any hints for this type of hook up?

should be no problem. if your bathroom sink is already vented you won’t have a problem especially if it is close. on the drain side only, I like to use furncos if you can’t make a good glue connection ( a furnco is a rubber fitting with hose clamps on all ends they work great on waste) If your vent isn’t close, install a cheater vent instead of going through the roof. They use them when a sink is in an island. in the kitchen for instance.
